Sharone truly is an artist who understands that the process of commissioning a painting is most successful if an artist is open to a real process of collaboration: to listening, and to ensuring that she only begins the act of creation once she is sure that she can deliver as faithfully as possible the vision you’ve communicated to her. Talking with Sharone was easy—you will be hard-pressed to find a more charming human being—and the works she’s painted for us have exceeded all our expectations!

I think what makes this painting so special, is that I got to be a creative voice in the process. Often with artist commissions, we tend to leave it up to the artist's discretion for them to do "that thing they do,'' but with Sharone it was the opposite and THAT is how you know you are truly getting a special one of a kind painting. For an artist to go inside your head and live in your world while they work, both musically and by your inspirations is unlike any experience I've had before it.

Sharone's work has made my home that much more special. Her use of color and light is breathtaking, and her pieces are conversation starters for anyone seeing them for the first time. She is so open to any stories/bits of inspiration you may have, and no matter how ridiculous sounding, she doesn't bat an eye. You want a piece that reflects your heartbreak at leaving home mixed with the excitement of a new adventure mixed with your obsession with Dolly Parton?? You got it.

and I went to Sharone because I have a deep appreciation for her spirit, vision, and her creative process. She couldn't have been more receptive and kind during our virtual meeting about the inspiration for the painting. You can tell just how much joy this process gives her, and it's infectious. What a beautiful thing to so easily be able to give your trust to an artist you admire. Anytime I'm on a call in my living room and someone sees the painting behind me, they are always so in awe of it.

Working with Sharone on our first commissioned art piece was an incredible experience with a one of kind result! Sharone took the time to meet with us over several sessions to discuss the overall inspiration of the piece. As a couple with strong aesthetic opinions, we appreciated Sharone working with us closely to ensure the end result was even more beautiful and wonderful than we could of imagined.

The piece we commissioned Sharone to create for our home was the most special wedding gift we received. Not only was the process a lot of fun, the experience of receiving something so responsive, beautiful, and unique was kind of magic.  Sharone is a skilled painter, but moreover, she is exceptionally skilled at reading people and their energies, which makes the creation a form of therapy.
